The first Gadje Scum EP came by after two years of experimenting with sounds and setups by musicians from all corners of the musical universe. Bringing together the world of dub, ska, 8-bit gaming, hardcore parties, break beats and balkan fanfares isn't that straightforward, but absolute fun!

So here's the digital pre-release, free to download. The EP will be available for sale in the week of april 8, 2013. Contact us for more information.

Sky Hi Guy is Belgium's most heavyweight dub DJ, culminating more than 20 years of experience in the reggae and dub scene. His soundscapes float on top of the compositions of Will Harwood and Sanne Werkers.

Sanne Werkers is a master of guitar and effects, determining much of the band's sonic soundscape. He has played a lot of ska, gypsy, funk and jazz in the past, and happily adds these flavours to the songs.

Will Harwood is a trainee-doctor in language skills and has a deep love for beats. He adds the verbal flow and lyrics to the music, and takes the trumpet parts in the horn section. The horn section is completed by Bauke Meersman on alto sax, and Joris Meys on tenor and baritone sax.

Bauke has played in a number of ska and funk bands, and has tinkered with jazz and free jazz for years. These influences colour the music through his solos..

Joris Meys played for a long time in a balkan street fanfare, and still plays in mestizo and balkan bands. Together with Bauke and Sanne, he also rattles at the foundations of jazz in other projects.
